ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Western Union has pitched in a number of disaster relief efforts to support Pakistan and the more than 14 million victims of flooding in the country, including donating $100,000.
These efforts are: grants; establishing a donation program and no transfer fee for money sent to Pakistan from the United States, the United Kingdom and some Middle East countries.

PLANTATION, Fla. – Shipping giant DHL has launched a new direct service from Nhava Sheva, India, to Los Angeles.
Operated by Danmar Lines, DHL’s in-house carrier, the new service will facilitate trade between India and the United States and offers customers reliable and cost-effective services with a reduced transit time of 26 days between the two ports, the company said.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Omidyar Network has given a grant of $2.1 million over two years to the Foundation for Ecological Security to extend property rights to common land to India's poorest communities.
