PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Wyndham Hotel Group has entered India with its Days Inn brand with the signing of deals for three new, full-service Days Hotels.

The signings will add another 230 rooms to the Days Inn and larger Wyndham Hotel Group portfolio and come on the heels of the recent announcement that the company will open its first Wyndham Hotels and Resorts branded property in India in April, the company said.

"India remains a market where there is great potential for growth," said Ken Greene, Wyndham Hotel Group president and managing director of Asia Pacific. "The addition of these hotels highlights our commitment to the Asia Pacific region and underscores our continued focus to grow rooms globally."

Wyndham Hotel Group currently has 11 hotels and more than 1,200 rooms in India under its Ramada brand. The company's Asia Pacific portfolio consists of more than 325 hotels and over 50,000 rooms under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Ramada, Howard Johnson, Days Inn, Super 8 and Microtel Inns & Suites brands.

The three new hotels slated for India will include the five-story, 48-room Days Hotel Neemrana, Jaipur Highway, owned by Mighty Developers India Ltd. and expected to open in this month; the five-story, 102-room Days Hotel Neemrana, Sahil Square, owned by Yogi Properties Pvt. Ltd. and expected to open in January 2012; and the four-story, 80-room Days Hotel Asansol, owned by Shradha Agarwala Hotels Pvt. Ltd. and expected to open in March 2013.

Both Neemrana properties will be located near the historic fort of Neemrana and the Japanese and Korean investment zones while the Asansol property will be located close to the Asansol town center and just a short drive from the nearby city of Durgapur. All three properties will include a host of amenities ranging from business and fitness centers to restaurants, meeting facilities, swimming pools and more.

Wyndham Hotel Group, part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of companies, is a hotel company with approximately 7,210 hotels and 612,700 rooms in 65 countries under the hotel brands: Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Ramada, Days Inn, Super 8, Wingate by Wyndham, Baymont Inn & Suites, Microtel Inns & Suites, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, TRYP by Wyndham, Howard Johnson, Travelodge and Knights Inn.  In addition, the company has a license agreement to franchise the Planet Hollywood Hotels, Dream and Night brands and provide management services internationally.

All hotels are independently owned and operated excluding certain Wyndham and international Ramada hotels which are managed by Wyndham Hotel Management Inc., one of its affiliates or through a joint-venture partner.

Wyndham Hotel Group is based in Parsippany, N.J.
